A 6 year old male is brought into your local clinic with difficulty breathing. He lives on a farm and his parents found him outside lying on the ground. You measure his vital signs and they are normal.
You perform your ABCDE assessment and find:
His Airway is open, but there is a lot of saliva in his mouth.
His breath sounds are coarse. You apply oxygen.
His Circulation exam reveals normal pulses.
On Disability exam, he is confused, but responds to voice.
When you Expose him, there are no obvious signs of trauma.
