Case 17: A 10-Year-Old Male With Wheezing

10 year-old boy brought in by family for difficulty breathing. The child has had these symptoms for a couple days, but seems to be getting worse. He has a history of asthma and usually takes medications that help him when he has difficulty breathing, but four days ago he ran out of his medicine.

On your initial ABCDE assessment, the patient can only speak to you in short phrases. He is sitting up on the exam table, and his Airway is clear.
